Returns
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days after receiving your order.
How can I return my order?
In case you wish to return your order, please contact us at info@nonahandbags.com for further instructions.
We can provide you with a return shipping label (only available for EU orders). Please note that refunds will only be given for the item itself, excluding shipping costs. We will withhold an amount of your refund to cover the shipping costs.
To receive a full refund, all items must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were received, with labels attached, inside their dust bag.
The return of the purchase is at the expense and risk of the customer. We cannot be held responsible for any items that were lost during the return process. NONA will commit to refund your purchase as soon as possible, within a maximum of 30 days, after receiving the returned items.
Can I exchange a bag?
Yes, purchases can be exchanged for another item.

Can I return or exchange a sale item?
Yes, sale items can be returned, but only in exchange for store credit. We don't refund sale items.
A sale item can be exchanged for another sale item (while stock lasts) or full price item.

Can I cancel my order?
Order cancellations can only be made before the order has been shipped, to receive a full refund including shipping costs. If the order was already shipped, please follow our return steps.
Payments
Are duties, customs fees, or import taxes included in your prices for orders shipped outside the EU?
No. Duties, customs fees, and import taxes for deliveries outside the EU are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. These charges are determined by your country’s customs authority and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery. We recommend checking your local import rules so you know what to expect.

Can I get an invoice for my order?
Yes. If you are a customer ordering from the Netherlands and you want an invoice of your order, please send us an email with your company details, before or after placing your order, and we will send you an invoice.
For other EU customers who want to place an order with a VAT number, please contact us at info@nonahandbags.com before placing your order. We will set up the order manually so the VAT can be shifted on your invoice.
Can I order from outside the EU without paying VAT?
Yes, if you are a customer shopping from outside the EU, the price of the item(s) will be calculated without VAT in the website check-out after filling in your address information.
All prices shown on the website include 21% VAT. If you're a customer within the EU, the correct VAT rate from your country will be applied in the webshop check-out after entering your address details.
Product care
How can I care for my leather bag?
We advise using a protectant spray for your type of leather before first time use. If you use your bag daily, make sure to repeat this often enough, about once a month.
For grained, patent and smooth leathers, we advise to clean your bag every once in a while with a damp cotton cloth - it will prevent dirt from layering up.
To keep the leather supple and to prevent it from drying out, use a small amount of colorless leather wax or cream to condition your bag every one to two months, depending on how often you use your bag. You can use a cotton cloth to rub the leather wax on the bag in circular moves. Don't forget to apply wax on the corners of your bag - these are the fragile parts of the bag that regularly get in touch with surfaces when putting the bag down. Using a colorless leather wax and a protectant spray will protect them from loosing their color.

Are the bags waterproof?
Our bags are made primarily from natural leather, which is not fully waterproof. While some of our leathers have a (patent) coating that can resist light moisture, we recommend avoiding heavy rain or prolonged exposure to water. For added protection, you can use a dirt and water-repellent spray for your type of leather. If your bag does get wet, gently pat it dry and let it air-dry naturally - never use heat sources.
Does my bag have a warranty?
We offer a 12-month warranty period against material and production defects. This covers things like hardware malfunctions and unexpected leather faults. The warranty does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, improper use, or exposure to water, dirt or extreme conditions.
My zipper broke, can it be repaired?
We offer a 12-month warranty against material and craftsmanship defects. This covers any hardware malfunctions. You can reach out to us at info@nonahandbags.com so we can take a look at the issue. If the zipper on your bag breaks after the warranty period, we suggest visiting a professional cobbler or leather repair specialist. They’ll be able to help restore your bag so you can continue to enjoy it for years to come.
I'm experiencing quality issues with my bag, what can I do?
Please reach out to use if you're experiencing hardware malfunctions or unexpected leather faults. We offer a 12-month warranty against material and production defects.
This does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, improper use, improper care or exposure to water, dirt or extreme conditions.

Materials & Production
Where does the leather you use come from?
The leather we source comes from Spanish, Italian and Portugese suppliers who are Leather Working Group (LWG) certified.
The LWG is a globally recognized organization dedicated to promoting environmental best practices within the leather industry. Their certification ensures that the leather we use is produced in a way that minimizes environmental impact, including reducing water usage, controlling chemical waste, and implementing responsible waste management practices.
By working exclusively with LWG-certified suppliers, we ensure that every piece of leather we use is produced with the highest standards of environmental and ethical responsibility. This certification also guarantees that our leather comes from facilities that prioritize worker safety, fair labor practices, and the responsible sourcing of raw materials.
The Leather Working Group (LWG) awards Gold, Silver, Bronze or Audited ratings to tanneries based on their environmental practices. The leather we use all comes from suppliers that are either Gold or Silver rated.
Gold rating: the highest standard, given to tanneries that excel in sustainability. These facilities use best practices to minimize environmental impact and are committed to continuous improvement in areas like water use, chemical management, and waste disposal.
Silver rating: a strong rating for tanneries that meet high sustainability standards and show a commitment to reducing their environmental footprint, though not as advanced as Gold.
What materials do you use?
Our bags are made primarily from natural cow leathers with different finishings and coatings. We also offer bags in a waxed suede and we used to work with a waterproof cotton canvas.
Are the bags handcrafted?
Yes, every bag is handcrafted by our production partner's small (family-run) team in Barcelona, Spain.
All custom requests our handcrafted in our own atelier in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
Where are the bags made?
We work together with a small, family-run, leather workshop in Barcelona, Spain. They manufacture all the bags that are available in our webshop (apart from some samples in our bi-annual sale) and sold at our retailers, . Custom orders are handcrafted in our own atelier in Arnhem (NL).
Can I personalize my bag?
No, we don't offer any personalizations on the bags in our webshop. We do offer custom services. We can make one of our existing models in a color of choice and can do small customizations to the bag.
Do you offer bags in vegan leather?
At the moment we don't have any vegan options in our collection.
Gift cards
Can I purchase a giftcard?
Yes, we offer an E-Gift Card in our webshop in multiple amounts. For tailored amounts, please reach out to us via email: info@nonahandbags.com
E-card will be sent to the email address that you placed the order with within 24h after placing the order. The E-Gift Card contains a personalized code that can be used in our webshop check-out.

Will this item come back in stock?
Because we want to avoid overproduction, we only produce our bags in small runs. Once an item from our core collection is sold out, we will do our best to restock the item as soon as possible. If the item will be restocked, it's possible to pre-order. We will mention in the product description when we expect the restock.
